Walk in the Breeze... and Ale
Well, mainly ale.
Yes, London, a large city. Inhabited by, at least, 2 thousand people.
One is required, upon entering, to visit the token sights. Only after completing a detailed list may one enter any non-chain pub or coffee shop. Fortunately for me, I had been clued into this by my inside contacts and was cleared to experience the true London after only one day.
The museums are magical places. On display in each are at least 100 artifacts. This is amazing, as they only place for 5-10% of their collection for viewing. If we follow these numbers, than there is at least one piece in each museum for each resident of London.
After I became thoroughly cultured, I was then permitted to leave London for Oxford. Upon arrival, we were all handed ascots. Removing the ascot within the town limits was punishable by receiving mandatory matinée tickets to "Billy Elliot."
The final day I headed out to Richmond park. Overlooking the city and having a bit of a kick with the rugby ball, I saw at least one deer.
All in all, I had at least 3 different pints of ale. Most of me is now back in the states. Hopefully the upcoming canyons will bring back the lagging pieces.
Note: Full photos will be available at some point.
